WHAT WE DO.

we change the world one school child at a time.

We help kids in rural communities get access to education and health care in a basic but highly effective way. We do this through Barter.

Our solution is as old as the human race. We get involved at all levels of the barter value chain in order to provide a truly inclusive and sustainable solution to education and health care.

- Farmers bring their crops to us which is the current money equivalent of the product and/or service they wish to obtain.

- We in turn pay the schools in question with hard currency and the farmers' kids get access to school.

- Farmers can pay for tuition fees, uniforms, books, bags, pens, solar lamps and any other school material.

- At the level of health care, farmers can pay for community based mutual health insurance and hospital bills using crop.

- We transport the crops we collect from the farmers to the urban areas and sell them to recoup our money and sometimes make a profit.

- Farmers have the option to prepay or post-pay their kids education as they pay when they have the crops handy.

Access to education and health care is one thing, access to good quality education and health care is another. We try to ensure quality services by providing various capacity building programs.

- We provide farmers with training programs good farming practices and how to increase their yields. We also build their capacity in actively taking part in their kid's education not only by sending them to school, but also at home for the kids to be able to excel academically.

- We work with schools in rural areas to be able to improve their curriculums, enhance content delivery and improve teaching techniques. We also pair education volunteers with schools so as to increase interactions and impact. Furthermore,  we source for any opportunities schools can make use of to get better.
